In June 2012 the Australian Bureau of Statistics released much of the 2011 Census data, providing a snapshot of the Richmond Valley’s residents and their lifestyle. Further sections were released later in 2013. For further information about the Census data, visit the Australian Bureau of Statistics website.
This data will be used by all levels of government to plan for the future, allocating funds to those groups most at risk.
The following documents were made available to the general public at a Census Release seminar held by Council’s Co-ordinator Community Projects and Social Planning.
